16 January 2025 - The five newly established and one existing Master of Engineering (Professional) programs at JCU have received provisional accreditation from Engineers Australia today. Dr Huang led and coordinated the accreditation process within the Engineering team at JCU.
3 January 2025 - Our paper: "High-Resolution Histopathology Whole Slide Image Generation Using Wavelet Diffusion Model," is accepted by 2025 IEEE 22nd International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging (ISBI). Congratulations to student Abdullah. This is a joint work with Abdullah, Ickjai Lee, and Euijoon Ahn
22 December 2024 - Our paper: "Adversarial training and cross-modal feature fusion in multimodal sentiment analysis," is accepted by the 2025 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing (ICASSP 2025). This is a joint collaboration with Junhuai Li, Chuang Lin, Huaijun Wang, Yuxing Zhi, and Jing Chen.🎉🎉🎉
16 December 2024 - Our paper: "Localization-Guided Track: A deep association multi-object tracking framework based on localization confidence of camera detections," is accepted by IEEE Sensors Journal. This work is a joint collaboration with Ting Meng, Chunyun Fu, Mingguang Huang, Xiyang Wang, Jiawei He, and Wankai Shi. 🎉🎉🎉
15 December 2024 - Our paper: "RaLiBEV: Radar and LiDAR BEV fusion learning for anchor box free object detection systems," is accepted by IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology. This work was completed by PhD student Yanlong Yang in collaboration with Jianan Liu, Qing-Long Han, Gang Ma, and Bing Zhu. 🎉🎉🎉
7 December 2024 - Dr Huang was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation for his valued service and contributions as a member of the IEEE Region 10 Newsletter Committee for 2023-2024. 🎉🎉🎉
